| The Pro-Life Committee
of St. Sabina sponsors "White Rose for New Life" program. A
vase of white silk roses is placed in the Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine, Our Protectress of the unborn. Each
expectant mother of our parish and her unborn child will be
represented by a rose marked with the mother's name and due
date. The rose will remain before Our Lady throughout the
mother's pregnancy as a constant reminder of our parish
family to pray for the health and well-being of these and
all new mothers and their babies, for a change of heart in
those contemplating abortion, for the mercy and forgiveness
of Our Lord for all abortions, in thanksgiving for each and
every new life given to us by God. Each rose will then be
given to the new mother when we welcome her baby into our
community at baptism, thanking her for saying "YES" to new
life!
